HF24 24 Foot 8 Blade HVLS Fan

The HF24 is the flagship of the Humongous Fan HF Series, a 24 foot HVLS industrial ceiling fan built for the most demanding HVLS applications. Aircraft hangars, mega distribution centers, oversized manufacturing plants, agricultural barns at scale, and any space where a single fan needs to reach across an extreme floor area belong to the HF24. Twenty four feet of Performance Engineered Blades at low RPM deliver up to roughly 50000 to 57000 square feet of effective airflow coverage, more than any other size in the HF Series.

The flagship HVLS fan

At 24 ft the HF24 is doing things smaller fans physically cannot. Blade diameter is the single biggest lever in HVLS performance, so a 24 ft fan at the same low RPM as a 16 ft or 20 ft fan moves dramatically more air, throws much further, and stratifies less. Hangar operators specify the HF24 because one unit can replace four or more conventional industrial fans and still deliver a more comfortable working environment with less noise, less energy use, and a single point of control.

Where HF24 belongs

HF24 deployment makes sense when ceilings exceed about 30 feet, when bays are wider than 60 feet, or when one fan needs to be specified per bay across a very large facility. Aircraft maintenance hangars, public safety vehicle bays, military and commercial logistics hubs, large dairy and equestrian operations, and oversized fabrication shops are typical. If the room is smaller than that, an HF20 20 ft, HF1600 16 ft, or HF1200 12 ft is the right specification.

Install considerations

A 24 ft fan requires structural review of the mounting point. Humongous Fan provides mounting kits engineered for bar joist, I beam, and concrete deck installations. The HF24 ships with industrial duty motor, variable speed control, optional VFD and networked control, fire alarm relay, safety cable, and warranty.
