The HF20 is a 20 foot HVLS industrial ceiling fan engineered for the largest industrial spaces where one fan needs to deliver airflow across an entire bay. Twenty feet of Performance Engineered Blades at low RPM produce one of the most efficient air moving devices available, transforming the working temperature in mega distribution centers, aircraft hangars, manufacturing plants with overhead cranes, and oversized warehouses. The HF20 covers up to roughly 30000 to 40000 square feet of effective floor area per fan depending on ceiling height and obstructions.

When 20 feet beats 16 feet

If you have a high bay environment with ceilings above 25 feet, very wide bays, or long open spans without column interference, the HF20 will outperform the HF1600 because larger blade diameter at the same low RPM moves substantially more air with a wider, taller airflow column. The HF20 reaches further across the floor, throws further down to occupied level, and pushes a stronger destratification cycle in winter. In facilities where you would otherwise need two HF1600 fans to cover one bay, a single HF20 often does the same job with simpler controls, lower install cost, and less ceiling congestion.

Performance Engineered Blades at 20 ft

HVLS Engineering scales nonlinearly. The HF20 uses the same airfoil derived blade geometry as the rest of the HF Series, but at 20 ft the surface area and tip speed combine to deliver dramatic airflow with very quiet operation. Workers feel a perceived cooling effect of 8 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit on hot days. In winter, reverse or low speed operation pushes trapped warm air from the ceiling back down to the occupied zone, often saving meaningful heating cost.

HF20 vs HF1600, HF24, and the E6 line

For mid sized industrial spaces, the HF1600 16 ft is more cost effective. For the absolute largest installations, hangars, and mega warehouses, step up to the flagship HF24 24 ft. For commercial environments where airflow refinement and sound matter more than maximum throw, see the E6 20 ft Essential 6 Series for the six blade equivalent.

Install and quote

The HF20 ships with industrial duty motor, structural mounting hardware sized for bar joist and I beam, variable speed control, optional VFD and networked control packages, fire alarm relay, safety cable, and warranty. Cut sheets, electrical requirements, and lead times available on request. Use the request a quote button for pricing, an install schedule, and a free sizing recommendation specific to your facility.
