Humongous Fan designs and manufactures HVLS fans at 23103 Miles Rd, Cleveland, Ohio 44128. This privacy policy explains what information we collect when you visit humongousfan.com, request a quote, place an order or respond to one of our ads, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

When you request a quote, fill out a contact form, submit a Google lead form attached to one of our ads, call us or email us, we collect what you choose to send. That usually includes your name, company, email address, phone number, city, state, ZIP code, country, and details about your building such as square footage, ceiling height and how the space is used. If you send drawings or photos, we keep those with your quote.

When you buy a fan through our online store, we also collect your billing and shipping address and order details. Card payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, humongousfan.com uses cookies and similar technology to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, what you look at on the site, how you arrived (for example from a Google search or an ad), and the time you spend on the site. We use Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing, and HubSpot for this.

Videos on the site are embedded from YouTube and Vimeo. Those services may set their own cookies when you play a video.

How we use your information

• To size your fan system, prepare your quote and follow up with you about it
• To process, ship and support your order, including warranty service
• To answer questions you send us
• To send product news or offers, only where you have agreed to hear from us, with an unsubscribe link in every marketing email
• To measure how the website and our ads perform, and to show Humongous Fan ads to people who have visited the site before
• To keep the website secure and to meet our legal and tax obligations

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run the business, and only for the purposes above. These include our CRM and email provider (HubSpot), Google (Analytics, Ads and lead forms), our website host, our payment processor, and the freight carriers that deliver your order. If you are working with a Humongous Fan dealer or installer in your area, we may pass your quote request to them so they can help you. We will also disclose information when the law requires it.

Advertising and your choices

You can turn off personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some features such as embedded videos may not.

How long we keep it

We keep quote and customer records for as long as we have a business relationship with you and for as long as we need them for warranty, tax and accounting purposes. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in Google Analytics.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop sending you marketing email. Depending on where you live, for example California or the European Union, you may have additional rights under local law. Email info@humongousfan.com or call (216) 663-8830 and we will respond within 30 days.
