16 ft six blade HVLS fan for larger retail hospitality and light industrial.
The E6 16 ft scales the smooth six blade Essential 6 profile up to a 16 foot HVLS industrial ceiling fan suitable for big box retail, large hospitality venues, event spaces, indoor sports facilities, and light industrial environments where ceilings are taller and bays are wider. Sixteen feet of Performance Engineered Blades on a six blade configuration delivers a much larger airflow column than the E6 12 ft, while still preserving the quieter, smoother feel that distinguishes the Essential 6 Series from the four blade HF lineup.
Once a venue has ceilings over about 20 feet or open span over about 50 feet wide, smaller fans start losing perceived airflow at occupied level. A 16 foot HVLS fan moves substantially more air mass at the same RPM as a 12 foot fan, which means the downwash column reaches further to the floor and rolls further outward. The E6 16 ft is the right specification for big box retail with industrial ceiling heights, large hospitality venues, indoor pickleball and basketball courts, larger fitness facilities, hospitality event spaces, and light industrial environments where airflow refinement and acoustic signature matter as much as throw.
The four blade HF1600 16 ft is the heavy industrial counterpart in the same diameter, optimized for warehouse and manufacturing throw. The E6 16 ft is the better choice when occupants are present for long periods. For smaller venues, see the E6 12 ft. For the largest spaces in the Essential 6 line, step up to the E6 20 ft. The full E6 Series overview compares all sizes.
Larger diameter at low RPM is the most efficient way to move air mass. The E6 16 ft uses the same airfoil derived blade geometry as the rest of the Essential 6 line, scaled to 16 feet. The resulting airflow column drops down from the fan, fans out across the floor, and creates a perceived cooling effect of 8 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit at occupied level in summer. In winter, the same fan reverses or runs at low speed to destratify trapped warm air at the ceiling and push it back to the occupied zone, which can meaningfully reduce heating cost.
E6 16 ft ships with industrial duty motor, structural mounting hardware sized for bar joist and I beam, variable speed control, optional VFD and networked control, fire alarm relay, safety cable, and warranty.
