16 ft HF Series HVLS fan for large bay warehouses and tall ceilings.
The HF1600 is a 16 foot HVLS industrial ceiling fan built for high bay warehouses, distribution centers, large manufacturing plants, hangars, and any oversized industrial environment where one fan needs to cover a serious amount of floor area. Sixteen feet of Performance Engineered Blades move dramatic volumes of air at low rotational speed, delivering destratification in winter and a perceived cooling effect of 8 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit during warm months across a single bay.
Once a facility crosses roughly 20 feet of ceiling height, the HF1200 starts losing efficiency on the floor because the airflow column has too much vertical room before it reaches the occupied zone. A 16 foot blade span at the same RPM moves much more air mass and delivers a wider, taller airflow column that still feels strong at floor level even from 20 to 35 foot mounting heights. That is why the HF1600 ends up in distribution centers, warehouse high bays, vehicle and equipment storage, manufacturing plants with overhead crane systems, and similar tall industrial environments. Effective coverage from a single HF1600 is roughly 20000 to 30000 square feet depending on ceiling height and obstructions.
The blade geometry on the HF1600 is the same airfoil derived design used across the HF Series. The shape is informed by the same fluid dynamics principles that make modern aircraft propellers and large wind turbines efficient. Larger diameter at low RPM is dramatically more efficient than smaller diameter at high RPM for moving air, which is the foundation of HVLS technology. The HF1600 turns slowly, pushes a huge column of air, and runs quietly compared to traditional high speed industrial fans.
If your bay is smaller or your ceilings sit under 20 feet, the HF1200 12 ft is more appropriate and less expensive. For very large facilities or for one of one fan placements over broad open space, step up to the HF20 20 ft or the HF24 24 ft. If the environment is retail, hospitality, school gym, or any space where airflow refinement and sound level matter more than maximum throw, the E6 16 ft Essential 6 Series uses a six blade profile in the same diameter.
The HF1600 ships with industrial duty motor, structural mounting hardware sized for bar joist and I beam, variable speed control, optional VFD package, fire alarm relay, network controls, and safety cable. Cut sheets, electrical requirements, and current lead times available on request. Use the request a quote button for pricing, an install timeline, and a free site sizing recommendation.
